To Hell With Imports!!!
First of all, the F-Body was made by General Motors. GM is an American based and owned company. Their headquarters is in Michigan.
Just because they choose to assemble some of their vehicles in Canada does not make them "imports". It makes it an American designed car, produced by an American company, assembled in Canada.
Calling an F-Body an "import" is just plain retarded.
v.tr.
1. To bring or carry in from an outside source, especially to bring in (goods or materials) from a foreign country for trade or sale.
I wouldn't consider a F-body an import myself, but technically, if they were made in Canada, they are. It doesn't matter if the company is american or not. By the definition, some Toyota's, Mitsu's, etc. should be considered domestics.
BTW, "Domestic Dumbass"(
), don't you feel a little stupid when you get that user title from a site that is for your own car? Last edited by LSINA7; Aug 6, 2006 at 05:44 PM.
