relax guy(s) i own a friggin camaro myself.
and a rx-8 all were nice tight cars but they had 0 power. It was nothing special to get beat trying to race some one in a granny car. They do have better build quality than american cars ,hell anyone with a brain can tell you that but they cost so much to mod and still after modding them they usally will only keep up with a stock gm or ford product. They were great cars for weekend trips ect, espically the rx-8. Once again very nice cars just no power.

It was a GT with different wheels and a billet fuel door. I didn't like the front clip they put on that thing at all.
It got custom 1970's style leather seats, and gauge. Better suspension, better intake. As far as my look comment everyone is entitled to there own opinion. If you want speed and have a deep pocket buy a Viper Venom 1000 TT, Ford GT, or c6 z06. You want style, and slick looks, yea i'd say the 350z is hotter lookin then late model f-bodies. And yes a LS1 f-body is faster then a mach 1. But its still a drivers race. Quickest stock Mach 1 i've seen was 13.1. I've also seen a stock 05 GT auto pull a 13.1. Sticks good for a 13.6 at best. 350Z are good for 13.9's - 14.5's. But i'm put money on the 350Z out cornering a f-body. Sorry for hijackin the thread.

In the import "league", (that's slow, boring, basically people movers, some with more body kits than you local Pep Boys, all show no go, want to drift?, no HP vehicles) the 350z fairs well.
In the muscle car "league", (that's more HP you can handle, outrageous looks, FUNCTIONAL wings, in your face, bad boy, real exhaust rumble, your *** is mine looks) the 350z is as good as an underbody mechanic's crawler......true story.

They got cobalts with BBC's, RWD, and shitload of money and other stuff in them but im not going to run aroud telling everyone cobalts can run 6's with bolt on's.
I like the 350z's looks but unless your going to swap a v8 in it sell that bitch.
That being said, I think there is wayyyyyyy too much 350Z hating going on in this thread, that stems from utter ignorance. The same stuff goes on on other sites about fbodies, and it pisses the fbody guys off there. A 350Z is certainly not a car I would consider buying, but I also wouldn't say they don't suck. To the guy bragging that the 350Z has had recalls and his SS hasn't, 350Z certainly aren't known for their extreme high quality, but neither are fbodies, so I don't get what you are trying to prove.

The only problem with getting a "new" F-Body is actually getting a "new" F-Body. People who are willing to sell the car probably put a lot of miles onto them.
People beat the **** out of them quite often and it is sorta hard to find one where the rear-end and trans isn't roughed up a bit. Plus with the new emissions laws that are rolling in used F-Bodies that were even slightly modded might be hard to bring into your area (such as if they have long tubes or removed cats).
There are lots of people out there with low mile F-Bodies that are in great condition, they just usually don't sell them.
I rode in a buddies 350Z with 20's on it. It felt like a freakin slot car. Even at 110 mph. So I wouldnt sell one if i had one. I also read its 2006 import tuner car of the year, its got potential, i wouldnt sell it.
Plus, taste is a matter of opinion, you go on this site and there all gonna tell you to buy a GM. Don't get me wrong the LS series is wicked, but can be beaten.
As far as the comment about only mustang one guy would ever own is a GT500, i'm a mustang guy, and that car is either underpowered or a joke. 03 04 Cobra's are only 2 or 3 tenths slower, lighter, and sexier.

for me in looks its ls1>350z>mustang and all the mustangs basically look the same so idk why your saying a snake makes the drool factor go up. personally i like the looks of the gt500 better then the 03-04 cobras. looks are totally opinion based. mustang's just happen to hit alot of v6 loving girls desires in a car.
i also never said i would never own any stang under the performance of the gt500. just wouldnt get rid of a z to get one, i dont like getting different cars all the time, so unless it was a big improvement, i wouldnt do it thats what i meant by that. also at the current price of the gt500 i wouldnt even think about getting one even before the 40k markup(90k total price -local vert price. coupe's may be alil less- still deffinitly not worth the privce imo). i wouldnt mind having a terminator,but still rather have my current car over one and there are alot of cars in line that i would get before a terminator. corvette c6 z06 being the most above it.
my sister also won her 350z at a casino, all she had to do was pay tax on it... still not her favorite car, she likes her v6 camaro better... im sure she likes the 350z's performance alil more, as its alot better then a v6 camaro in every aspect of performance. but she wants to sell the 350z (with alot less miles)because she has more cars then needed, and keep her camaro.
