Default fck yo v-tak

whats goin on people, recently traded my integra gsr for an auto 96 z28, needs some work but it drives fine and thats all that matters, i was pointed here by a couple friends and by a couple forums for any technical info and to look for parts, lookin forward to fixin up my camaro

i remember i took off from a light, trying to impress my friends and all of a sudden i see a ****** old *** suburban passing me, it was humiliating

my 2.5l N/A subaru is pretty good down low, but really sucks at higher speeds. the only thing worth mentioning is that it can almost keep up with a 5l mustang on the low end (im talking little over 1st gear. the car really isnt very fast.) im assuming it has something to do with the 25-20% drivetrain power loss as result of awd.

Now instead of getting beat by a suburban, with a 96 camaro you might be able to keep up with one atleast.

welcome. i bet the camaro is a big stuf up, especialy in the torque department. if your new to v8s and f-bodys, id read the lt1-lt4 stickies further down the page. they have a lot of good info. congrads and good luck.

Where ya from? and what did the burban look like? My buddy has a 400hp bad boy in an old *** brown and cream burban.. really throws people off(it's still slow though, weighing like 2.5 million pounds)

it was on highway 6 in mo city, but it was a soccer mom driving

Just an FYI on the window motor, check out ebay if your going to install it yourself. They sell them for super cheap ($15). ebay
