New guy from Chicago hi everyone, i'm Matt, and i'm (slowly) building my 2nd vehicle, a 1992 S10, into a street/strip monster. i am planning on an built up LS1 and 6 speed tremec with maybe a 4.10 gear, limited slip, flat fiberglass hood and/or fenders, a stripped down interior, and maybe a little nitrous. From what i can understand, all i need ot pass emissions here in IL is to meet the tailpipe emissions requirement, so i might be bale to get away with a carberuetor manifold. if not, and i end up going the fuel injection route, i might be awful lost, and would appreciate any advice you guys coupld give me. thanks

Check the tabs at the top of your screen, the one "Performance Trucks" will help as well (sister site) on your mods, performance and strip racing. This is still a good place to get general information for what you are planning so popping into both should get your questions answered.
