hey, newb to the site here, but not an automotive newb to cars / forced induction in general. im sure a few of the members on here from my area know me
ive been getting into the habit of turbocharging friends cars, and im hoping to talk a friend of mine into turbocharging his 98 formula.
either that or ill wind up turbocharging someone elses ls1 f-body in the area ....

first car i turbo'ed was a 2000 eclipse (3rd gen) did it mostly with 1g/2g parts
he picked the intercooler, not me, lol
ECU refused to accept what it was being told by the SAFC for tuning, hence the AFR in the dyno below, car later went back on the dyno, held 12.5:1 across the rpm band and put down +20hp and +20 tq IIRC
car had a 255 walbro, aeromotive FPR, 440 injectors, 1g dsm BOV, 2.5 piping for everything, 1g manifold, 14b turbo (big 16g got damaged before install) and had a innovative wideband feeding the ECU a modified narrowband signal to get the ECU to tune for 12.5:1 AFR
second was a ford focus w/ the zetec 4cly, turbo is a gt28 @ 10psi. no dyno #'s yet because Nick keeps getting screwed on wastegates seen here with the prototype battery relocation tray. car has been having issues. first wastegate was an ebay special, that died. second wastegate was a tial, that was DOA, it was brand new but bought 2nd hand. now nick wants to build a new manifold for it.... its turning into one of those never ending project cars ...
after all of our careful measuring, look at how well everything fits into a tightly packed space, talk about measure 2x, cut once......

3rd car ... wow you guys are gonna hate this ....
1994 Taurus SHO
3.2l v6 with the 3.0 cams
built ATX
PT67 turbo @9psi
44# accel injectors
ran a 13.85 @ 108 with a warped rear bank pipe that wouldn't seal(since been repaired), leaving the car unable to brake boost at the tree, and still on the cheap/ sleazy base tune as the new MAF pigtail hasn't shown up yet, leaving us using a MAF that pegs @ 5k
tuned with a Tweecer
will be receiving an aluminium front rebar with will double as the filter-to-turbo pipe
and yes, the bumper DOES fit over everything, and it is now installed, lol
car was built for road course track days, not for drag, the turbo was sized to give the car a great upper end for when Alex is lapping the track @ 8k rpm
