Sorry to hear about your loss, it must be hard to accept. This thread is giving me chills because mine was just almost stolen last Sunday. I came home at 9:45pm and at 10:00pm my stock alarm began going off. Luckly I heard it and came out, and the crooks took off.

man, i would go nuts if i caught someone trying to steal my car. a couple of months ago i had left my bike over at my girls place, and she calls me around 11 and says that some son of a bitch (well, i added the "son of a bitch") had pushed my BRAND NEW bike over!! she is only about 1 mile away, but by the time i got there, there was no one around. luckily my buddy totalled it (he's okay) a couple days later, paid it off and now i got a deposit down on the first '07 cbr 600 rr

Sorry about the loss! I worry all the time about my car being stolen guy not 22yards away away has just got 2years for knocking off a warehouse for electrical goods with 3other guys! and that thieving bastard drives past my house every day!
I always keep my car under a locked cover with a piece fo black card covering the vin,
plus i have a heavy duty bike lock threaded through the door handle and steering wheel which means i have to get out the passenger door & if someone is determind enough to rip the door open i don't think they'll be drivin to far with half the door interior on their lap

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE!? at about 7:15 this mornin i get a text from a buddy of mine, some ******* broke INTO HIS GARAGE while he and his roommates were at a party and took off with his 425 rwhp '02 trans am!!! he is pretty sure he knows who did it tho, and the police are looking into it, but damn!

All this talk about peoples cars getting ripped off makes me want to booby trap my car! Like injecting pepper spray into the car's cabin.

Im so sorry to hear about your loss. The night i went to pick up my camaro from detroit, (i live in houston) my other car got stolen out of my driveway. I put a clifford pager alarm with a 2 stage motion sensor on my camaro. I know its not impossible to steal but I should be alerted fast enough to greet any would be theif with one of 4 shotguns or 2 if my wife wants some too

Yea, my next car is going to have some serious **** on it. And I am considering putting a sticker on the back glass that says "All thieves will be SHOT DEAD!!"

that totally sucks man!! It just makes me mad when i hear about this stuff and thinking that some people think they deserve something more than the person that spent their hard working money on to get. I hope you find it and in the same condition it was in.

Dude that looks like the galleria in metairie in the background of those pics. Mine got stolen less than a mile from there, across from Rummel High(on Edenborn). I got a new ride. If i get lucky and catch anyone trying to steal it, I will kill them. Probably dump the body in the river or something. I'm not kidding. Any thieves out there-don't **** with my ride!

If the quarters are in good shape, is there enough to rebuild? Maybe you can get it off the insurance company cheap and build it better?? Cheaper to build half a car than take a whole car and build on that, just an option.... I still have to go look at the rest of the pics, I am only on the third one.
