Finally bought a real car
So i just got my first real job after graduating college with Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes... and I decided it was time to leave the hondas behind and get a real car. In the search for a new car my cousin (who told me about this site) put this deal in front of me that I couldnt pass up. I've always been an import guy.. owned a few hondas.. an audi.. nothing really special.. just basic mods for autocross and some fun on the street.. here is my '99 Civic Si that I drove for almost 5 years..
But its time to move on.. cuz lets face it.. i bought a honda cuz i couldnt afford anything better.. haha.. car was cheap.. mods were cheap.. gas was cheap.. it worked... but now i've moved on to this:
its a 1999 Z28.. it was built by someone in new york.. and done very well from what i can tell so far. I've been lurking on the boards for a few weeks and i can tell there is a ton of info on here I can use.. anyways.. thats my story..
oh yea.. and i just moved to Columbia, South Carolina.. seems like a pretty cool place so far.. lookin for some stuff to do.. anyone from around this area?

You did well grasshoppa!!! Looks like you have some aftermarket trim on the dash and an aftermarket gauge panel. Looks very nice, now just get rid of that LS1 decal on the sides!!!

Your Service Engine Light is on too, you should address that issue first. Mine was on when I bought my t/a. I thought it was a bad o2 sensor (which both of them were) but when the light started flashing, I realized I was misfiring.
Congrats on the 'camaro. I too had jap fever, moved up from an acura cl-s when I could finally afford the insurance.

...but you can see the lines of the SLP LT1 SS wing is alot more smooth and flows with the lines better. IMHO

Also, please ditch the billet grille, and the fog lights behind them. Looks waaay out of place IMHO.
All in all, congrats on your new ride man! It does look sweet, just some little things I would change but no biggie great car overall.
Peace,
Craig.
P.S. - Fix that "SES" light I see on!
