stop whining, my first car was a 95 Eagle Talon Non turbo I worked all summer to buy it and fix it, the car was only 500 bucks and needed a head swap so I saved up all summer bought the car, all the parts and fixed it myself but then I relized hey its a N/A 4cyl it prbly didnt hit 0-60 in 8.999secs, so I sold it turned a profit and bought a 90 Turbo Talon and yes its broke and yes im fixin it myself and the shitty thing is I cant even drive it because I dont have a job ive been applying for one since summer ended and nothing to pay insurance and its only like 60 bucks a month

Well there basically the same they both have the 4G63T which is still used on the EVO, there really easy and cheap cars to mod, but you have to keep up the maintenance on them or theyll break easy. My sis had a GTP before it got stolen haha anyways we had a little race and I beat it but not by much.

Congratulations, Hex, you are a dumb ***. I got my LS1 when I was 17 out of pure dumb luck from insurance money. Racing and mechanics run in my family. I learned to control the car OFF the street before I tried doing anything hotboxy. Even now I don't drive like an idiot unless the road is clear.

I had to get in on this....I'm 17 and drive a V6 Camaro, really wanting to upgrade to an LS1. You guys make a very strong point about getting an LS1 as a first car. His parents either have no idea what kinda power an LS1 makes or they're just really dumb. I know if I had gotten an LS1 for my first car, I would be dead. F-bodies are not the easiest cars to drive, and it's best to learn on a less powerful car in which mistakes can be corrected. In an LS1, that backend is coming around in heartbeat. What is really horrible is that he brags about being caught with weed and how he's a better driver while he's high. There are no words to describe what a complete douche this kid really is. He gives all young responsible drivers a bad name. When he crashes, I pray he doesn't hurt himself or anyone else. Hex, don't blame us for your complete pwning, blame yourself for being an arrogant ***, who smokes too much weed for his own good.

my first car was a v6 camaro convertible RS, 97....I thought it was THE best car in town...

im glad it was a 6...i learned how to drive without all the power...even with a 6, on wet roads you can lose it, so i learned, got better...got a head on my shoulders and bought my SS when I turned 19...i pay for every cent including insurance...i have worked hard for 3 years and it is almost done...I love it...

Stock LS1 cars power bore me

I started with a 86 Camaro v-6, crashed it and fixed it and learned a lot about driving.

My Z means a lot more to me because I worked hard for it and started slow. Most people I know that started with an LS1 car or LT1 car wrecked it BAD.... one is a chick, wraped her WS.6 around a pole.

Im a senior in High school, i work 20-30hrs a week on top of school, all for my V6 camaro, ****, i go home and dream of your car. have fun while you can man, cause life's about to hit you hard once mommy and daddy arent around to spoon feed money into your mouth. ******* spoiled kids

I'm still here just turned 18 2 weeks ago got my car at 16 1/2. Don't get me wrong I've done stupid things. Just not around other drivers on the road. I've never caused damage to my car from it. The only accident I've had was because of weather conditions (ice/snow mix) which the insurance company deemed not at fault . Also did I mention I have 0 tickets?

If you hold the camera at the top of the steering wheel,between your hands you never have too take your eyes off the road or your hands off the steering wheel .Its actually quite relaxing after going 170+ on a gsxr-1000!
