Hi all, new here w/ '00 Z28!!
Hello all!
I was referred to here by a friend. I'm Brian, 24 years old, from Long Island, NY. I just picked up a '00 Camaro Z28 from Rhode Island. My friend sent me the craigslist link and from there it's all history. This is my first F-body I have owned, and I'm having much fun with it so far. I wasn't looking to get one just yet (was going to wait for age 25 for the insurance drop) but I got a decent deal and didn't want to pass it up.
I have always had W-body cars prior to this. At the moment I have a '95 Olds Cutlass Supreme coupe, which I have done a ton of work to, including dropping in a modded-up 3400 sfi, changing the trans a few times, drove the wheels off that car. Still have it and I'll keep it on the road. That car is a work in progress. The Camaro is 100% stock right now, with pwr everything, T-roof, Monsoon stereo w/ CD changer, traction control, custom half-burnt dash bulbs and 2.73 gears Oh well. I do all the repairs myself so long as I can physically do it.
Looks like a great forum, full of useful information and good people (no drama?) Glad to be here!!

thanks guys. I can't wait to mess around with it. I have some minor repairs to do first, but after that, I'll be looking for more. I can't get over just how many "free" mods are out there for these cars!

Oh man that is SIIICK!!! The seller gave me a set of those exact SS wheels too. They need re-chroming, and one wheel has a nice chunk out of it. I do want to use them, so I'm looking for 1 additional rim, and talking with a local wheel refinisher.

Here's a few pics I took right after shampooing and detailing the interior. I need to get onto the exterior soon, but the interior needed the most work. I need a front plate holder and probably the front grille as well. It didn't come with the car.
