I didn't know there were so many of us either, especially here on LS1Tech. My SS is Navy Blue Metallic (can you not see the pics I posted ). I'm game for a meet anytime. My office is right around the corner from "Harper's Auto Square" so you could literally drive down Perimeter Park Drive any daylight hour M-F and see it parked in front of my office. Send me a PM anytime.

Welcome,
This is a good forum. Folks are friendly and share information willingly.

I've lived in Wichita, KS for 31 years. However, I'm a graduate of UTK (Class of '71) and am originally from Cleveland, TN.

Steve

My computer here at work won't load some pictures for some reason. I don't think I've ever seen your car around town. Not that I remember anyway. I work at the Army Reserve Center on Weisgarber Rd behind the NAPA Auto Parts store and daily drive my Z-28 so I'm sure you've seen me around town. I'll holler at you sometime, I'd like to see your SS. Wait a minute, does yours have 315's out back and lowered? I just remembered seeing a NBM SS on Middlebrook not even a week ago, damn I can't remember anything!
Anyhow I'll holler at you and we'll meet up sometime, shoot the bull. A few of us hit deals gap around spring too so your more than welcome to join us.

I've only seen one other NBM SS around town myself, and it was basically stock. I've seen it in the parking garage at West Town Mall a few times. I don't have 315's, I've got 285's all around, but it is lowered. Also, I have a personalized license plate with my nickname (Animal). So, if you see me, you'll know it's me. I've never done Deals Gap before, heard about it. That'd be cool. Just holler anytime.

Well, your right down the road then. I used to live in Ooltewah which is right below Cleveland. I still own land down there on the farm and plan on building a bigger house once the wife finishes college. We all need to drive down to the f-body gathering this year together.

It was too late when I first saw you on the board! It' s not like there is a 50HP bump in power or anything, but they do have a little more bottom end, and they' re a little more torquey. The cam they used was in the truck motors first. One nice side-effect, is that this cam eliminates the need for the EGR system.

It's in Atlanta, GA in the next few months. It's a big three day car show, go to
www.fbodygathering.com and check it out. We go every year and stay Friday night and all day Saturday. There is usually a couple hundred f-bodies there, mostly 4th gens.

I believe the one he's talking about is in Atlanta in May. Also, there's one in Bowling Green, KY in Sept. at the Nat. Corvette Museum. Good road trip.

Definately man, we'll cruise down together. Last year we had four LS1 f-bodies in a group cruising down and it was awesome. It was a good chance to get away from my wife for a change, she hates car shows.

That' s my problem, I want to go, but don' t really have anyone to ride out with. If I atleast had someone to meet up with there, I' d consider it.

Holy ****, they would be a long *** ride! It's a damn good show, last year we went on the cruise to downtown Atlanta to the old drive in burger place. There was about 100 loud, fast f-bodies in one big line hauling ***. Man it was an adrenaline rush!

That sucks. I keep looking for a woman who likes car shows. I know they exist. I've seen them!

Man if you find an extra woman that likes cars send her my way and I'll have my wife packing! My old lady is a good girl she just likes different things. I'm an east Tennessee Country Boy and she's a Las Vegas City Girl so we have our differences. She's a blonde too and a therapist so life for me can be a living hell sometimes. Hell he could meet all of us in Atlanta if the drive ain't too far.
