New from SoCal

Hi all,

I have been lurking a while but waited to register until I finally picked up a 2002 Z28. It's a lot more fun than the Ford Focus I was driving!

I am in the Southern California area and plan to do a bit of drag racing at Irwindale and Fontana.

Thanks, I got it from a guy who was about 80. He was the original owner. He wanted to get rid of it because he just got a new Lexus and had no room in the garage. It has 23000 miles and is a M6.

I liked the Focus at first. Its lack of personality was sucking the life out of me after 1.5 years. I was going to do a turbo on it which would have put out about 250 fwhp but I figured this would be more fun.

welcome, also from a socal local. keep an eye out for local meets, im looking forward to my first meet. also, i race at fontana, along with a few others. the next day is april 7, we can get a group together, watch the west section.
