Speaking of which, have you ever seen/heard of George Baxter? I think he' s in New Jersey. He has a 30th Anniv. LT4 SS vert that used to run 8's. Hadn' t heard anything in years, but last I heard, he was running 9's IIRC, and selling the LT4, because he wanted to go faster.

That car ran a best of 9.0 with the LT4 YSi blower set up, then went to a Gen I SBC with a blower, he sold it some time ago and the car is in southern California now, the new owner post or did at one point on this site. He's good friends with Injuneer on CZ28.com

I almost got to see that car in person once. It was a weekend right around the time of the attack on 9/11. I went to MIR for a little getogether for the F-body Hideout. The only reason it wasn' t at that gathering, is he had a mishap the week before. The nose came up higher and faster than he expected, he freaked, locked up the brakes, and crushed his headers and front suspension. He wasn' t able to get it back together in that week. It must suck to be that fast, although, I do wish I had that problem!
