Tune Or Headers?

Tune Or Headers?
I have a 2001 Camaro SS , SLP Louth Mouth and Slp lid,
I ran 13.2 @ 106.5mph with Nitto's 555R. I'd like to put little bit more power then 332rwhp so I can atleast get 12.9's out of it, I just dont like the number 13 lol. Would a tune get me in the high 12's and how much HP might give me, or I should wait to put the headers and then tune? Please help, I really dont know, thanks

id say depending on the headers you get varies the gains youll get. and im not gonna ball park it and give you something way off base.
best of the best would be kooks imo, ive heard people get good gains from them.. plus you cant go wrong with stainless steel.. but there prices are no where near a steal.

Wow, 13.2 is pretty good man. Mine is a 2001 Z with listed mods in sig and I ran a 12.97. You should be pretty proud. Pacesetters btw. I personally dont have any but ive been reading this board a little over 4 years now and im about to get my pacesetters. Best bang for the buck and will last a while.

Pacesetters are a good budget set of headers. I have HOOKERs they where easy to install much easier than SLPs which I have heard VERY LITTLE good things about. The KOOKS are very nice sometimes a clearence issue with the K-member on the Passenger side from what I have seen. To each is there own though but I would say either Pacesetters or Hookers

After my Pacesetter install, I gained around 40 rwhp. They fit really nice except the y pipe bangs a little bit on the floor board. New motor and tranny mounts helped stop that, but you'll love the headers! Makes the car sound way better
