new from Texas. 240's ;)
my name is Alex
im from Tyler Texas (for now while im finishing up my degree). We also have a private shop down here (Objective D). Im all out drift, sometimes drag (but not a whole lot)
I own a few 240sx,
-maroon s14 that is my track car with sr20det (thats where Sar came from. a lazy redneck way of saying "s-r". nickname stuck with the car)
i currently dailing this as headgasket blew in my daily driver
-s13 240sx stock auto
daily-s14 shell. for projects and fabrication.
im currently in the market for ls1 swap. so is my friend from our shop also. i will be parting out my sr in the future and im using the spare s14 rolling chassis for fabrication.
recently i visited Phillip in henderson who put the Elcamino together and i got even more reinforced to do the swap!
basically, im looking for information on parts and fab. ideas for the ls1 into s14.

here are some pics if you are curious

my pos and the s13 with rb26dett

anyway i love v8s and how the responce was in my friends TA.
but im also a huge nissan fan and im looking for a nasty tourqy motor hehe.. that would be reliable. so naturally ls1 has being growing on me for a while.
i got the tools and everything i need for the job just looking into doing more research. i know for some 240s are not their cup of tee
but its ok

Reminds me of my old 240sx.

I sold it to some kid down there in Texas on some AFB hopefully its being drifted and you'll c it at some drift days..

and to answer the question, ls1 aluminum block with a t56 will weight about as much if not less than my sr or the ka i had before.
i got a spare s14 chassis that im going to be doing all the fab work on. this way i can still have a functional drift car haha
wow those 240s look great what kind of rims are those on your s13? i plan on drifting my 240 in he future but damn i need a lot more practice

the rb26 can ripppp tho. dynoed at 425 rwhp. first few runs blew a tire in pieces on a first corner. bent the fender to hell hehe. morale of the story, dont drift on toyo tr1s. they chunkkk
