My Christmas present to myself
It was a busy Saturday for me. I woke up at 6:30am and was on the way to RDU before 7am to take a 9:30am flight out of Raleigh and into Philadelphia just before 11am. I then secured the deal & drove this home:
Its a 100% bone stock automatic '02 Z28. It had 36,xxx miles when I bought it, it clicked 37,000 somewhere in a huge traffic jam on I95 around Baltimore on the way home.
:thwink:
It has every available option, leather, ttops, 500 watt monsoon w/ 12 disc CD changer, TTops, 3.23 gears, traction control, chrome wheels etc.
It seems to run quite well for a stock automatic. I'm hoping to baseline it at the track and then go from there. It will be my nice weather daily driver, and I'm hoping to do some basic bolt-ons to liven it up a bit. I want to keep it very streetable so nothing crazy. I'm not a fan of those snow-flake style wheels, I'll probably swap them out to something else....

ehh just the lighting. Sometimes my Bright Red (81U paintcode which is the equivalent to the victory red) looked VERY "orangy" at twightlight(dusk)
Slap some wheels, and some HALO headlights with the whisper mod on them. You ll be good to go!

We'll see. I don't think it will hook too well on these street tires though.
