Holy crap...... I might be back
For all that don’t know/remember...
I was a member with a chameleon green ls1 M6 98 formula...

Till feb, 10th 2004 when it met with an untimely end

Well time has gone buy and the replacement car I picked up is ready for replacement....
Well with a little help from a forum member I found this beauty at a local dealer

Down side is its a tan interior, 6cylinder, auto with high miles....
up side.
- its only $5,000
- The body has no rust and looks great
- I will have about $4,000 from the sale of my current car
- And my friend makes his living from parting these cars and can prolly find me a wrecked ls1 6speed charcoal bird with low miles for that $4k...
- after the swap it will still be a v6 from a vin point of view

I might just have my baby back...

serriously I dont care, its a place holder to begin with
Yeah, um... Never paid insurance till this car (rents always covered it while I was in school)
but yeah, its going to be sweet once its a LS drivetrain.
Macomb
LOL I was just in the soo watching the outhouse races last weekend.
Just got a honey of a deal on this 98...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...%3D%26_fvi%3D1
Its just like my old bird, with a few more aftermarket parts and T-tops. Same year, same trim same model same engine, same intirror and same extirrior!!!
Im going the 14th to pick it up...
so now I will have an ls1 blue/green formula for summer driving, and a 3800 v6 blue/green firebird for winter.
Bigger place. The other shop was pretty nice, but I had a better offer so to speak. Also back in school too so I can get my Bachelors and be back into the ball game full swing.
Good luck on that LSX swap!
I still need to come visit and snoop around..
um..
er..
no swap.
Im going to be buying this car in MD and its exactly what i want... except for the leather intirror.
Whats going to hapen is Im going to pick up this car from MD and bring it back home and drive it during summer and my V6 in winter...
yeah nothing like having a winter car and a summer car that look identical parked next to each other.
I think what Im going to do on the weekends is take the v6 street racing and then take the v8 the next day and race for $$
LOL
no but I will be rebuilding the ls1 with a better oil pump, new water pump, better timing chain, 6.0l heads, better springs, and better push rods and then get a turbo kit.
so thats where it sits.
I hope it dosent brake down on the way home. looks like the seller took car of it though.
Sorry I'm slow - slow in the head and slow in the v6
