Default Exotic Performance Plus.

i have been trying to order a pst driveshaft from them for 3 days. the first 2 days i called a very helpfull woman informed me that the man i needed to talk to was very busy and would call me back. 3 days later, no phone call. i have called multiple times a day and now no one is even answering the phone. the woman i spoke to informed me that the driveshaft
measurement i gave her is an inch shorter than stock. does anyone know where i can buy this ds other than epp?

I'm sorry about that. My wife has been really sick with a thyroid disorder.

Did you take the measurement with the rear loaded, which is how you have to measure it? The 44.25 measurement should be what your 10 bolt driveshaft length comes out to, which is the same as the 12 bolt needs. This could change if your rear is moved closer to the front of the wheelwell, which could happen if you have adjustable lower control arms, and the centerline of the axle is off towards the front. Thanks. Bob

im sorry about your wife.

i have no clue why it only came out to 43.5 inches. i did it with the car on a drive-on lift. i bought the moser 12 bolt used and when i did he gave me a driveshaft to go with it. i had no clue it was shorter until i tried to put my stock one back in and it didnt fit.

i have boxed lower control arms and i think the t/a is a moser but im not sure. theres no markings on it and i got it with the rear as well

Does the rear end look centered in the wheelwell? Bob

Without adjustable lower control arms, you won't be able to center the rear if it is off. Let me know what you find out. Thanks. Bob

even if it is off i dont see how it would be off almost an inch. it looks like it was different for the last guy that owned it too since he gave me the shorter drive shaft. i do think it might be too short tho, just by looking at it

when you said centered, i thought you meant side to side. it does have an aphb but dont f-body wheels sit farther back from the factory? wouldnt moving it forward shorten the driveshaft? it had the same lower control arms with the stock drive shaft and the stock 10 bolt as it does now with the 12 bolt. stock ride height btw

Yes, moving it forward would require a shorter driveshaft. I'm just trying to figure out why you have a shorter driveshaft, I was thinking perhaps the rear is moved too far forward in the wheelwell. Have you unbolted the driveshaft and looked to see how much farther forward it can go into the transmission? You should have approx .75 of travel. Perhaps the previous owner screwed up and went with too short of a driveshaft. Bob

Diane will be back today, I'll have her download the messages plus she'll check to see if your thermostat got lost in the mail. Thanks. Bob
