Pissed off
I guess I have seen the light of the internet. All itis a bunch of wannabe shops and installers that cant come up with their own ideas so they but products from shops and copy them. They by alternator relocate kits or motorplates and instead of coming up with an original idea it is easier to copy a part and sell it as theirs. I guess this proves the point why this country has gone to ****.The ONE man shops are coming up with ideas and continuing R&D with the 4th gen cars and everybody else IS TOO LAZY to work to better the industry.
OH WELL this is the lazy country we live in. Their will always be leaders AND FOLLOWERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On a serious note though I am wondering if he had a specific LS1 based design copied or something?

Sorry Madman if we are causing you pain. Motorplates are made by many different companies, your not the exclusive rights holder for the LS1 motorplate. People will still buy your plates and they will buy our's it's the American way, freedom of choice. We did not copy yours at all, didn't even take any ideas from it. Once again, I am sorry if we pissed you off, but we have as much right to make LS1 motor plates as you do.
Thanks

Paul, they won't fit a SBF, sorry.
To answer your question, they still crush between the block and the plate. You will have to use 4 water pump gaskets now. Two between the plate & block and two between the water pump & plate.

I dont need a motor plate I'm not tring to go stupid fast.
Huh that's kinda crazy. The state of the art motor plates that I've ben cnc machining have pockets for the gaskets. Just one of thoose things that make it a little nicer I guess.
Paul
PS I have another question about your plate Chris but I'll move it to your thread instead.
