update on heads { absolute customers only}
I finally feel much relieved today, I got a good amount of work done and alot of heads ready for final assembley. I have another 4 sets of valves coming next week. getting done next week will be ed Q from cali, chris P, Dave from orlando. I have 6 sets going out on friday. David from cali your motor is just about finally done so is payton's.
I have a new policy I will only be selling heads that are in stock and ready to go, any custom order heads can be taken but no payment will be taken untill the heads are done.
I want to thank everyone who has been waiting patiently, some are cry babies but have every right, some are the coolest guys giving support knowing they will get the best product out there when they arrive. No feels better than me that the line is rolling again, the stress is relieving.
If you are not a absolute speed customer, do not post in here
thanks again everyone

I'd recommend you at least get a deposit.
To compare the industry, AFR charged me full amount when I placed the order, and informed me up front it would be 3 or whatever weeks before the heads shipped. I was aware of that up front, and made an informed decision to go ahead and pay.

Jay,
Could you please respond to my email. My email is john.weeks@mchsi.com. I will send it again so to be in the top of your inbox. I would rather talk to you personally about something. I would really appreciate it!

Thanks for the update Jay. My name (chris p) is on the list for next week. I sure look forward to installing those heads and my cam. Although the wait was tough and there may have been concerns from your customers, I'm sure it will be worth it in the end. Can't wait to get some dyno and track numbers.
Btw, I see no reason why you still can't request a pmt up front from custom heads, as long as the customer is aware of the time factor.

Jay, if you get back to this thread, could you possibly recap what the specs are on the 5.3 heads we're getting? Your voicemail has been full for a bit and I am assuming you're a tad busy to be around the phone much. In particular, can you refresh what the valve size, runner size and compression ratio (static) will be on unmilled 5.3s?

Jay,
I need to talk to you urgently. I was over charged for the set of 5.3 heads I ordered. I was told by you a few months ago you would match the sale price of $1299 you posted in the group purchse section (but it was deleted after a few weeks).
I paid $700 on 6/29 and i was charged another $580 on 10/15 for a total of $1280. Our agreement was for $1000 including shipping since I provided the 5.3 cores and patriot valve springs. Just wondering why I was charged $280 more than you told me????? I sent you an email and even called but you voice mail is full. I need a resolution ASAP.
Thanks

I was over charged $100 on mine. I've talked to Jay and was told it was taken care of almost 2 months ago with no resolution. I didn't want to air it here, but I can't get ahold of him any other way. Just call or email me Jay. I feel I've been pretty patient, but $100 is $100. 850-525-9123 or john.weeks@mchsi.com

I've emailed him probably 7-8 times. I don't know what else to try other than dispute the charge with my CC company. I don't want to go that route out of respect for Jay though. It should be handled on a business level.
New combo feels good. My HpTuner will be here Monday then off to the dyno. 425 should be attainable.
