I've never figured out how people get so worked up over things that happen on the internet. This isn't a direct relation to this situation really, but someone says something and then hundreds of others that have nothing to do with anything jump on and start flaming away with no facts or info. My best example is with Jeremy Formato. Someone's engine blew on the dyno and it was instantly his fault. It wasn't torn down or anything and then people made up lies upon lies saying that he said he doesn't know ls1's and that he blew his own car up got fired from RevXtreme, etc... All things far from the truth.

Now for this, HiFlo has done many things wrong and they deserve a lot of what they are getting, but there is still a lot of trash and stuff floating around that is most likely not true and many "customers" that have nothing to do with HiFlo but just stirring the pot.

I don't think I would want to become a big internet sponsor because with a few people your reputation could easily be ruined, by something that may have never happened or not even your fault. I could start trash talking any one of the sponsors on the right and if I get 5 buddies to help me I could probably get 500 people not to buy from them. That's just how the internet works and that's sad.

Don't get me wrong, it's obvious HiFlo is having problems and I'm not trying to say they are doing everything right. But to say the kit is never coming out and they are going out of business and he is a crook and all this stuff is pretty far fetched IMO. I haven't heard of anyone asking for a refund and not getting it.

IMO this is what will happen. People will get their kits withing a month and they will be happy with minor problems. Then most all of this crap will go away and be forgotten. Then HiFlo will continue to make kits and become a good sponsor. This could be completly wrong, but that's what I believe will happen.

Put it this way... If Hi-Flo does not send out some of the parts this week, then they will have been all talk (again).

It's Wednesday. If Bill and Marko and whomever else helps are not boxing up parts, then I don't know how they expect to fix their reputation.

Although I agree with what your saying- the internet in general seems to have a 'mob mentality' and is full of band wagoners. That being said, Hi Flo has been blowing smoke up our asses for almost a year now with nothing to show for it. They initially delivered extravagant claims, living up to none of them, and falling short of even the worst sponsors here on tech. I hope the remaining guys get their money back or get kits, but I must say I am glad I got out, and won't be doing business with them again. I consider this a life lesson.

I would take a bet on that one! Even though I hope I'm wrong. I really don't see that happening.

Damn.. Im glad I didnt bite when these kits came out. I ordered my Procharger AFTER the release date for the HiFlo kits and Ive been running around boosted for months and months now, even with having to fab my FMIC and piping. I also feel confident that if something breaks with my Procharger itll be handled in a timely manner.

I feel really bad for the people waiting, I hope SOMETHING happens for you guys. I really expected a LOT more from Marko and HiFlo.

They will see a rapid decline in orders for the F-body,[ since it's been a "dead player', since 2002,] and concentrate on kits for cars that are still in production?????

I've seen it time and time again, with products for the turbo BUICKS....AND F-bodies.
Not only in the mfgring end, but in the specialty shops.

Just my $.02....

The mob has actually been pretty kind to Hi-Flo, compared to some others in the past. Then again, Hi-Flo has at least somewhat come back to the site now and then to blow smoke up people's poopers and keep them pacified.

The part I found most ironic, is how in the beginning Hi-Flo chastized and verbally raped their predecessors for missing delivery dates, high prices, etc. They just couldn't understand what was "wrong" with everyone else, and made all kinds of promises. I'm sure now they fully understand. Hopefully they're also humbled by it, and further are still willing to be in the segment with a bit better perspective on the dynamics of such an undertaking. Its definitely more than just bending, cutting and welding of pipe.

I agree with Brains as well, however I also think they are humbled by their mistake, not just trying to screw people. I believe they are actually trying to what they say, but they just keep falling short. I could be wrong, because some people are just good at lieing. I wouldn't have went in on this in the first place. I'd never put that much money down on something that isn't proven.

Hi everyone,

This is Dusty at MVP Motorsports. I am also the owner of SupraForums.com which I am sure many of you are familiar with.

Just thought everyone should know that even though they started their business with $750,000 and apparently $75,000 of YOUR money is not significant, that apparently $1,100 of THEIR money is significant.

$1,100 is what they have owed SupraForums for advertising for almost FOUR MONTHS now.

We have attempted to contact them via phone and email. No calls are picked up or returned. No emails are returned, although we do know for a fact they received them.

They received their own forum, banner, etc. on SupraForums on the word from Marko and Bill they would pay us. Marko shook my hand and greeted in person at the 2005 and 2006 National Supra Meets in Houston. Guess that means nothing though.

Anyhow, I expect this won't get us what we've been owed for 16 weeks. But I figure if they can come over here and hock their non-existant turbo kits and flaunt all the money they have in their bank account, then I can let everyone know what kind of business they run from a different point of view.

Regards,

Dusty

This is why I'd NEVER built a mass-produced "kit" for F-Body guys. Things like turbo setups are not going to fit perfect on every car, everytime. You build the kit around the car, not make 20 of them and hope they fit.

While this doesnt come as surprise at this point, its just sad to hear another nail hammered into the coffin. Did they at least deliver products to the supra owners? I think it would be more disturbing for customers to hear that they have been doing the same thing with supra owners that they have us.

I didn't buy anything, but I get a sick feeling in my stomach every time I read new updates on this thread.

Good luck to those who ordered their kits.

Peace,
Josh

Be nice to him as hes learing about annual prostate exams and wondering if its the Lipitor that makes him lack motivation and feel achey. In reality, if it wasnt for the hair loss, you'd think he actually born after Kenneddy was shot.

J/K... I've been drinking again PSJ.

While I can not speak for everyone, I can tell you MANY people on SupraForums are very upset with them and apparently owed product, money, or both.
