I was just talking to Bill and he said he's shipping stuff. I'm not there so I have no idea. Good luck to all, I am not making any more calls, as we are owed for a quarter of advertising.

Bill, so why if it's not a $ problem that the sponsers have not been paid? So maybe you're having issues w/ the kit or whatever but pay the damn sponser who helped get you the business! I have to say for some strange reason I'm still hoping you do succeed. Not only so your customers get their kits but because it does seem that you have put together a great kit. With some people still being patient I just don't understand (like everyone else) why you don't just say exactly what is going on and concentrate on getting just one out at a time. Just tell people what you will do and not what you hope to do. Don't say "we'll be shipping some out this week" if you're not 100% but instead commit to one kit and give a delivery date and do it! I have to say this crap has ruined it for any companies that also want to produce kits (and after all the crap you said about past failed companies!!).

"MANY People are Upset" is a complete lie, i can only think of 1 person that may be upset to be totally honest. This statement has no credibility without being backed up by facts.

Marko just called me and it appears the $1,100 owed to us may be taken care of promptly. He has asked me to send him an invoice directly and said he has never seen one. We have sent them to STC but possibly his employees never made him aware.
In regards to the "many people are upset" comment Bill, you can attempt to discredit my statement all you want to. I'll drop it as it does not concern me directly and I am generally not a crap-starter. I am busy taking care of my customers and do not have time to debate or argue with you STC's customer service issues. Marko says you have only 1 upset Supra customer, then so be it, you have nothing to be concerned about. I know what I've heard and what I have been told. Its no more a "fact" that I heard it than it is a "fact" that you have no upset customers. This is a court of opinion, not law.

But to say the kit is never coming out and they are going out of business and he is a crook and all this stuff is pretty far fetched IMO. I haven't heard of anyone asking for a refund and not getting it.
IMO this is what will happen. People will get their kits withing a month and they will be happy with minor problems. Then most all of this crap will go away and be forgotten. Then HiFlo will continue to make kits and become a good sponsor. This could be completly wrong, but that's what I believe will happen.

I love how on the one hand this board is proported to be a COMMUNITY but on the other hand how when this community ralies behind it's members it's called Bandwagoning. Although a small few are being affected by this situation the LS1Tech community is trying to stand behind them, but we're being faced with posts such as yours, deleted posts, threats and bans. The reason why this community has grown is due to US, the members/consumers, not the sponsors. When a situation like this arises what can the Admin do? I think he has already done all he can and said so. We, the community, have the power to make or break a Sponsor by how we spend or don't spend our hard earned money. This board extends the "word of mouth" principle by which many businesses get referals and potential customers. If a company is not living up to expectations then we must spread the word so that the members of our community are aware of this. It then falls on that company to either get their **** in order or go away. That's the only power we have and it shouldn't be censored.
I understand the vested interest the Admin has to protect the sponsors. But let's try and remember that without US you have no sponsors and you have no board. I think there's a lesson in there somewhere.

I don't find there to be anything wrong with rallying behind members, but when people don't even deal with these people and are like oh I heard that so and so said that so and so etc...did whatever, that's what I was talking about.
A small few are being affected, so let them sort it out. It's a well known fact that hi-flo has screwed up so there is no need to keep throwing stuff down their throats. I wouldn't doubt it if they had to keep coming on the board to straighten out all of the miss-info, which (if they are doing anything) is causing them to waste time that they could be doing other stuff.

The point I'm trying to get at is that 1 person can say something false and then 25 more people jump on the 'bandwagon' of false information. Then the company has to come in a clean it up and it's hard to go against 25 people who are sold out on this lie.
Ahh, I'm having a hard time putting into words what I'm trying to say.
People that bandwagon on false information helps ruin a company, whether they are a good or bad company.
I dont' want to sound like I'm sticking up for Hi-Flo (even though it does) because in my book they've made a bad name for themselves. I wouldn't have ever gone in on a kit until it's been proven. I'm more trying to get across my principle point above.

So why hasn't it happened to the sponsors I mentioned in my last post? These sponsors are not just re-sellers. These sponsors are manufacturers and engine builders. It could happen to them just as easily if your theory was correct, but it hasn't. Quite the opposite. They're some of the most well respected companies to do business with on this board.
