Default Cheap alternative?
They have a ton of auctions on ebay for these things. Opinions? I've owned the K&N and CAI. I'm not runnign anything because I got sick of removing it before going to the dealer. But at this price, might be worth it.

looks pretty cheesy to me...


and no bend in the pipe...dont know if it would fit proper.

Why did you remove your CAI before taking it to the dealer? Many of us w/the intake have never been given a hard time at the dealer for our intakes.

If memory serves correct, by law, they can't void your warranty for simple bolt-ons such as CAIs or cat-back systems since you aren't changing how the engine is making power....you're just making it more efficient. Changing internal components or adding active power adders (turbos, nitrous, etc.), however, is a different story.

Yeah it looks cheesy...but if it worked properly, could be a cheap alternative for some people if it works.

Yeah I realized that but I didn't want to take any chances of them giving me a hard time when my tranny blew up. Technically, it does gain a decent amount of HP which could be used in an argument regarding transmission failure...

I just didn't want the headache.

LOL!! I installed this cheap crap on a co-workers car last year.
He had a 95 Honda Accord!! Same damn intake!! The rubbery components appreared to be deteriorating! It was awful, simply because its so universal and cheaply made!! I guarantee if you put another make and model in your ebay search this same lousy intake will eventually pull up!! So don't do it!!
