Top speed...
#21
Driving home late from work one night I came to a flat opened up spot on the interstate. I wasnt plan on going too fast just to were I got uncomfortable. It actually was smooth the entire time and felt I was in control up to 150mph. Car felt comfortable but seeing 150 on the HUD made me think otherwise. Will probably never see even close to that speed again. I do see 100mph every so often which seems like nothing anymore

Do the 2006's have the limiter set lower than the 2008's? I had my 2008 GXP on the Dyno and the limiter shut it down at 160. It was pretty close to red-line in 3rd gear, but I had about 500 rpm to go.
100% bone-stock too. I need to get an intake and some exhaust on there. Tune out the fuel shut-off and go for it again.

I got mine up to 130mph,.....ran out of room but it was still more pedal in the Crusader than I thought it would be!! My Nexen Tires feels real good, no vibration at that speed.

I had mine up to 135 a few times but have yet to top it out. There's one stretch of road here that goes for about 50 miles almost in a straight line but the Texas Highway Patrol are crawling all over it.

I hit 153 in mine last night while racing my boss in his G8 GT on I-10. I let off because I came up on traffic. Governor on my ride is set high enough for me (stock tune), I guess, lol. FYI, the G8 GT didn't hang with me. I blame the driver and not the car though. (no *****)

Be careful doing that, Mixerda bent a bunch of valves leaving it in 3rd at those speeds.
