Default Having some fun in the mud.

I know this is way off topic and this forum is not for this forum but i thought you might get a kick out of it. This is me in my 1988 suzuki samurai playing in a swamp on my farm. I have built a spring over lift and put 30 inch super swampers on it. Hopefully you like it.

All I can say is Ive been looking for the past 3 months for a cheap/fixable Jeep to go wheeling with. MY brother is a HUGE Jeep freak, his 93 YJ is sitting on 39 1/2"s on ford Dana 60 rear and 44 front all lockers run by an C4 trans & an Atlas II dual stick transfer-case with a '93 Ford 302 Cobra Engine! Frigin thing rocks! except its PURPLE, he calls it Plum Crazy, I call it ugly! Whatever! I just wanna play with him, in a cool fun, MUDDY way, but he prefers ROCKS to mud! LOL.

I have a 351w/396 stroker being built to go in, right now it has a tired 351w and before that it had a 4.9L.

That pic is a couple years old, the truck now has a 5" lift in the front and 3" in the rear, 35" superswamper tsl's in the front and 35" superswamper boggers in the rear, 4.56 gears, auburn high performance limited slip in the rear, 6 skyjacker shocks.

Right now i'm working on the engine, front solid axle swap, and shortening the wheel base.

Ya after the mods the 96 4.9L/300ci made around 190 whp and 310 w ft/lbs at like 1300 rpms and then fell on its face, but with the 4.56 gears it was a bull. I could just put it in low range and the truck would crawl with out having to touch the gas. I'm 23 and i've had this truck since i first got my license when i was 16.

That is going to be one mean monster when you get done, stroker motors are so torquey you have to love it. I have been looking into putting a different motor in my samurai, right now it is 1.3L rated at 63 horse. It is still a good time though, cant beat it for 300 bucks!

You should do one a 1.8L TDI from a jetta, i think its a pretty common swap now.
