Upgrades needed for SS
Upgrades needed for SS Hello all,
I was looking into buying the shift kit, hogan downpipe, and flipped motor mounts, but cant find them nowhere. Can anyone provide links for me, and tell me if these 3 upgrades will make a power difference on my car????? Also is anything else needed when installing any of these parts?????

Were all in this together. Kurt at Hogan is a great person, and the quality product he delivers is 2nd to none, you'll love it. But it will trigger the check engine light after 3 days or so. An HP Tuner (HPTuners.com) will make quick work of that, and will make your 5.3 purrrrrrrr
i hear that man yea i jus ordered the DP7S downpipe i hope i feel a difference. The hp tune will it be able to upload to my Diablo Sports applicator or will i have to do something else. THat link you sent are you sure that was for the flipped motor mounts????? It looks like springs of somesort for the engine or am i wrong also?????

Mike - Thanks alot - I'm digging yours as well. The painted rims looks awesome - not to mention 22's - nice.
Bugzy - If you look further down that post, you'll see people start talking about the flipped mounts, keep looking down. Also I'm not sure about the Diablo, the HP Tuner plugs directly into the car OBD port under the sterring wheel and you have complete control over the engine, tranny, emmisions, etc...
Start another post about the Diablo / HP Tuner question.

Ok i read it sounds easy enough, I just need to get the parts now, as for the diablo tune it is the exact same as the HPtuners, i would hope when i install the pipe nothin happens though. thanks again for everything you guys are the best
