Default 60' Times

I took a look at the best LS4 times, and many people arr running less than 2.0 in the 60' mark. What tires are people running? How are you getting these great 60' times?

A lot of it has to do with track prep also. Wider tires always help.

I get mediocre 60 foots, mid 2.2 average, best of a 2.20 with this car.

I got a best of 2.08 the first time I took the car to the track right after I bought it, stock tires at manufacturer suggested pressure.

I wish my local track had good prepping. It's nice once in a while, but not often.

Default and again

Should have givin us a 6 speed with some 3.29s or 3.42s f***dod. This car would have been even faster. I mean a 4 cylinder Malibu can get a 6 spd. Maybe I will be the first guy to try to have one built or do some kind of conversion.

I was a lil jealous when I saw six speed auto Malibus. Even a five speed and shorter gearing would have been good for us, then we'd be getting 30mpg highway easy with DOD/AFM.

I only use the raptors at the track most of the time and they grip well. I left my other wheels on a buddy's trailer last weekend and have been running the rikens for about a week and i like them alot. A good cheap performer

I figure a good set of tires will help my 60' times and I've been told that with our cars, every .1 in the 60' is worth .2 in the 1/4. I can't seem to find drag radials or something similar for the stock 18" rims.....
