Default question about keyless+tire sensor

anyone had problems with the keyless entry+remote start and the tire monitoring system? Both stopped working at the same time on my 07 impala ss. I have tried both remotes and with new batteries. car will not let me relearn the remotes. also tried unhooking the battery for a while. car is not throwing any codes. any ideas?

yep, common problem. Remedy is to replace the antenna, fobs, and module. Hopefully you are still under warranty.

A search of this section for "keyless service bulletin" brought me this, amongst a few other returns:

Check your build date first. Damn you have enough vehicles.

yes I have way too many to keep up with! thanks for the help. I talked to a dealer and they said it was the transmitter in the dash was bad. he said it was about $100 for it. does that sound correct?

That sounds right for the receiver itself but when you get the new style receiver you still need the updates antenna and RKE's (fobs) plus it needs to be programmed with a tech2 after installation.

Definitely not a DIY'er to get it right...and even then, no guarantees. My keyless still sucks after the warranty update a year or more ago.
