What kind of mpg are you guys averageing on a tank of gas (city & highway)
Im seeing a little over 300 city, and over 400 highway, on 93 octane
I hear everyone talk about how bad the ls4's are on gas.. If you ase me I think it does really well on gas

I get over 500 on the highway and over 300 in the city. I get over 33 miles a gallon on the highway but I've done a lot of mods to up my gas mileage.

10.9 l/100km combined city/highway (about a 50/50 split by driving time). This translates into 26 mpg using real gallons, or 21.4 mpg using US gallons.

According to the vehicles onboard computer, I get about 18mpg combined. So I'd say 16 city 22 highway?

I've got an 88 mile round trip journey to and from work 5 days a week. With roughly 30 miles city and 60 miles highway, I have been getting a total MPG rating according to the vehicle computer (which I reset at every fill up of 93 octane at BP) of 21.5, I have however tried to drive like an old man, which then I achieved a 24.5 MPG average. Next time I fill up Ill do the math to see how accurate the puter is.

Less than 230 miles on a tank in my normal driving. Which is basically all stop and go, don't do much highway driving aside from summer. During the winter I only average 10.5 to 11.5 in that stop and go driving. Now that it's nicer between 14-15. The last trip I took last summer that I can remember which is about 70% highway 30% city I think I averaged around 24 according to the DIC, which usually shows a little higher than actual.

When the car was new I got around 250 a tank at the most. Two years later nothing else changed but miles on the car I get over 300 a tank. I have gotten almost 450 on a tank on an all highway drive.

See you need to define where and how you drive as well as mods and fuel used. I try to fill up wiht BP 87 most of the time (I'm in the army they dont pay me ****). On my recent 1000 mile trip to indianapolis I averaged 25.6 mpg and had the cruise control set at 73-83mph most of the time (calculated avg 71mph for total trip). On the way back I slowed it down alittle (about 5mph less) and got 27mpg. Now driving around central FL/ Orlando area (most roads have 40-45mph speed limit, but lights and traffic) I see around 21-25mpg. I know if i slowed down alittle and didnt do as many quick accelerations I could get better.... Also I am bone stock down to the paper air filter. I'll be switching to sythetic in the engine soon and should see a gain there and shortly after that a K&N intake. At the tranny service I will be switching to synthetic there as well (along with adding a trans cooler). There is a Magnaflow exhaust in the future but I am unsufe of when ther finances will allow that. With all that and slowing down to 60-63 on the highway I am hoping to see 35mpg there.

Yea, ok. You used the UK gallon. I get that but I am confused on one part. Did you use the Irish, Scottish, Roman, or Imperial mile?

I have over 15K on my car and I think the engine is finally starting to loosen up. The Driver Computer has been indicating some higher numbers I think. I'm going to check again after the oil change in a few weeks.

I get between 250 - 300 miles a tank on average, usually toward the 250 side. 60/30 highway/city, average speed according to the computer is 29.5 mph, average economy 18.5 mpg.
