Had NO effect on clearance, I've never touched anything on it. It's mounted horizontally in line with the rear wheel so there is no issue with speed bumps or backing up into curbs or anything.

this is wher i put mine. I still havent got it fully welded up and the hang welding on. I have had this on for a month or so now. I have hit one 2foot tall speed bump with cut out. Other than that no problem. So with it welded up and the hanger put up Should neverhave a problem.

There's a noticeable difference up top in power, I got it installed last August and have since only capped it up once for a day so I don't remember how big of a SOTP difference there is. I think I paid $50-60 to get it welded at a local exhaust shop.

I really want to get one of these...but with the wife driving the car pretty often, she couldn't bear it. I'd need to go with an E-cutout for selective usage.

I have mine mounted the same as the first pic. It has never touched anything. I got it installed for free but he usually charges like 20 bucks for things like that.

I'm a little late to the party, but mine is where the cat used to be. Cost me $25 to cut the cat out and weld the cutout in, installed back myself.

How do you like the cutout? Was it louder than my car before the longtubes? I'm running Longtubes, ORY, and open cutout now and its rediculously loud but I love it.

I have not heard the cutout with the resinator on still, you should post a sound clip. Mine is much louder on my car than it is on my truck.

my cutout is right after my res. on my magnaflow system. the wind kinda f*cks it up but you can kinda get the idea. i like it this way better then with the res. off.
