I got a responce back and it was for a v6 w-body... the manual 6 speed.

He said they want to make headers for the ls4 soon though if anyone wants to email milzy about that. I don't know if they would need a guinea pig or not.

Looks like someone is working on it. LSx series with the 6T75 (FWD/AWD 6 speed automatic from the Saturn Outlook/GMC Acadia/Buick Enclave).

http://www.fastfieros.com/projects/

The guy's post from fiero.nl:

Next is the 6T75 6 speed automatic mating to the LSx engines. All new bolt pattern, and I have to redesign the starter issue for this one too. PCS is 2 months out on beta with a contoller to run the 6 speed, but I have already talked with the lead engineer at GM for this transmission and he is helping me with the differences on the 6L80 vs the 6T75.. looking good for an OEM control solution.
We'll just have to wait and see...

That's exactly the kind of car I don't want to lose to, and the best thing about my built transmission is that even in D the transmission doesn't jerk me around before down shifting. The 4->3 and 3->2 both happen almost instantaneously.

The MPG would be great, I plan on keeping mine for a while.. sound the investment would be worth it.

I really would love a clutch in the gxp.

Agreed, and with the ecu, I figure the car knows a little better then me when
the best shift point is.

Would love to know if someone is actually going to do the swap,
a clutch in an ls4 fwd = one of my dreams

If someone figures out a somewhat easy swap, LMK!
Try playing with the tranny upshift and downshift MPH tables...it helps. I have mine set to downshift to first when I stab it a bit just after I go around a corner; it used to stay in 2nd.

Did you ask them about the 6T75 (Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia, Saturn Outlook)? They're relatively cheap and compact and can be found for ~$600 used.
