heres a 2001 grand prix with a 5 speed, hes from southern ontario, the car is turbo and awsome.
if he can do it we can do it.. the trans is from a 89ish grand prix, there was 2 years they were offered with a manual i think

OK, so I know these aren't W-bodies, but here's a couple of threads where guys are attempting to fit the F40 6-speed manual to a LS4 and SBC. Both are having to deal with mounting a starter motor on the tranny, which is probably the biggest problem that has to be overcome with a LS4.

Wonder if they are talking about an auto or a manual trans swap?? I also wonder if the Cartuning turbo kit will fit around this 6speed trans? That would be the **** if it does.

I WANT A MANUAL SO BAD. It would improve the car by atleast 75%. I got mine tuned with HP tuners and the tranny still seems slow to react and sometimes doesn't downshift when it should. I feel like getting a GOAT, but the winter in Ontario is a B for RWD. A FWD manual V8 would be so nice to use all year!
