gas smell near rear tire passenger tire / check engine light Check engine light has been on for awhile, i thought it was the gas cap since it was a readout of the fuel etc but now ive been smelling a gas like smell near the rear tire. plan on getting it checked out but wondering if anyone has any ideas.

Is your gas filler on the driverside? That's the only thong I can think of is that the vent is stuck. That is a very common problem with these cars. But you said it smells on the passanger side so IDK.
