Default Removing OnStar

is there an OnStar Fuse? I want all power to it to be completely shut off. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

10A onstar fuse in the underhood fuse block. Try that first. VCIM pulling might be an option. It's in the left rear of the trunk under the carpet.

No, it's in the passenger footwell fuse block, 2nd row up from the bottom, middle fuse, 10A.

Well it said underhood in the service book, but thats for a monte carlo. The module has a battery so they could still track you for a bit if you left it in the car...

Government owns GM, GM owns Onstar. I'm not going to keep it. It's a great idea for a private company, not for the man to track my every move.

Any ideas on the battery?

because onstar tracks your movement, can make a record of your phone calls, track speed, ect.

If cell phone company's will share info with the government then why wouldnt OnStar? I would hope not but you never know. So if you are planning on commiting a crime then rip that sh*t out, and throw your cell phone away.
