Proud new member! '05 GXP Hey fellas! I just brought home (literally) a Dark Cherry Metallic '05 GXP with 33,xxx miles! I've been lurking around this section for a while now and you guys seem very knowledgeable, which is good because I'm bound to have a few questions when it comes time to mod. Yet that's where my dilemma comes in, this car has the remainder of an extended GM warranty thru 2011 or another 22K miles. I'd hate to void that much of a warranty already, but I want to mod this sucker, lol. I might just stick to exhaust and suspension for now, we'll see. I know you guys probably want some pics, I'll try to get her cleaned up and post some by tomorrow, but I just wanted to introduce myself and say "hey"!

Let me know if you plan on going all 7" on your wheels.

welcome....you picked a good car to help write the book on in the mod section....LOL..we are the little big family on TECH lol...great guys on here...we all are trying to figure this girl out...we are gettn there..but welcome again!!!

here is my list of problems
2 tranny`s
replaced monsoon amp
wheels rebalance twice
steering shaft lubricated, what a joke that was
3 wheel alignments
serpetine blet and belt tensioner assmebly snapped off
replaced heater core
2 rear wheel beraings
onstar water leak, and sunroof leak
the DIC replaced still has a problem
HVAC panle replaced
interior noise that makes the virgin mary cry
enjoy your car
