ive heard that from a few other people probably since the general is a new tire....only thing that makes me lean towards the generals is they look like they were rated better then the blizzak's...maybe ill be the guine pig for them lol....is there going to be any noticable difference between a 225 and 235 tires as far as traction or performance?

I use 225/55/17 Firestone Winterforce tires on 17x8 Sport Edition Glide wheels. The GXP is almost a tank with the WF tires, and they are cheap as hell! But, whatever you buy I think you'll enjoy the extra traction that real snow tires deliver!

ended up agreeing on $205 for the rims and lug nuts. cant complaint about that

is the speedometer still right with the tire size change?

anybody answer the question about whether there wil be a difference in traction with 235 vs. 225?

For winter the thinner the tire the better. The wider the tire is, the more the weight of the car is distributed and the less the tire "bites"

What my WI brother says, thinner is better! I never had a problem with my speedometer with the snow shoes.
