Sad to see your gxp go. But hopefully you get a G8 or a F-body . Just blew the headgasket via it overheating. I jumped on a 3 grand extra warrenty when i bought this car cause i knew the trannys where ****. No clue why the engine gave up the ghost first haha

So what do you plan on doing with the car? Limping it into the dealer to trade it in?

SM,

You can buy complete head assemblies (w/ valve springs and valves) from Patriot Performance that fit LS4, LS6, LQ9 engines for $1295.95. Just throwing that out there.

Yes they are complete minus rockers, pushrods and good for .650 lift which is plenty for us. That's alot.

hmmmm so basically i can get ported heads for my car.....interesting. But one hang up is my car is shaking very very badly when it shifts and my steering is making a LOT of noise. I am thinking because my engine is shaking so much from the broken valve that it is litterly shaking everything apart.

I think I remember telling you NOT to shift over 6200 rpms? Hmmmm... lol...

Is the transmission bad too? What did you do to that poor car?

Not sure hahah but i decided to keep it and fix it. Sorry to everyone who wanted my parts lol. Blame mike for that! I am gunna save my money up for a few weeks and buy those upgraded heads. Port my intake and tb out further and maybe do a cam. I figure if i rip the car apart i might as well do it right. I will keep you guys updated with everything.
