Thorley Header Project Update

Friggin Sweet
This is gonna be a bitchin christmas present man. I'm gonna get the rest of the exhaust and cold air intake to top it off and really give it a noticeable horsepower change. I hope nobody else has ordered these headers on a Monte Carlo SS yet in St.Louis. It's gonna be be one hell of a trip hearing the car after it's done. I tell ya what I really can't wait for....is when I get just them on there minus the exhaust.....and I start that bad boy 325 beast with no pipes.lol. Hope the neighbors don't call the cops.
Happy motoring gentlemen. May the green lights shine and sky be blue. Over and out.

Yeah, I had them laying around the garage; the jury is still out on those.
All the SS emblems have been taken off, trunk strip applique changed from body color to chrome, front seat headrests have been swapped in favor of plain leather ones from an LTZ (the "SS" originals are bagged up and in storage), the 17" wheels/tires are from an LT (original 18s were taken off at 3,000 miles, bagged & stored), and I swapped out the "SS" airbag emblem for a gold bow tie. I love the double-takes I get from my clients and colleagues at the office.

No i never gave my deposit, i saved up to pay it in full. Im going to be calling them to let them know that i wont be able to buy them. They recently called and i havent been able to respond. Unless my "extended warranty" covers it. and i pay nothing. but i doubt thats going to happen without a fight.

I talked to Frank thursday morning, he said they were already up to 30 deposits, but were wanting 40. I mentioned the rumor of them dropping the price down to $599 if they got enough deposits and he really didnt give off a positive vibe............but not necessarily a negative one either. I plan on making my down payment this week, I'd love to see a slight price drop for all the first timers!!!
