My deposit is in now brothers. Frank seemed a little more positive about a possible price drop, yet he did mention there have been quite a few cancellations............hopefully they'll still cut us a deal! He seemed pretty appreciative that Doug Thorley Headers got the first chance to make headers for us, which I thought was a good sign!

how hard was the installation of the headers on the project car? about how many hours worth of work? i cant wait im going to pay one of my techs at work

 

They told me that it took 4.5 hours.

How long is the "group buy" gonna happen?? Till they fill the first 60 orders, or are they going to stop at a certain date??

 

I just spoke with Nick at Thorley's on Thursday and he told me that the group buy needs to be completed by next Friday. So if you are gonna do it, you have till the end of next week. I asked if they needed to whole 40 people to make the "group buy price", and he said if we are just a few shy, they would still honor the $599 price. Whoohoooooo!!!!!! Can't wait!!!!!!!!

I hate to say it, but if they bump the price up to $960 right at the end, I'll be wanting my deposit back.

 

It's either 649 or 599 for people who made deposits, not 960.

Damn is it me ,or does it seem like it is taking forever to get ours headers... I can already imagine how she is gonna sound with Doug Thorley shorty headers with Doug Thorley Mufflers to complete the exhaust setup!!!
