Mine were reused when they pulled the OEM manifolds off during the mocking up phase.

I would not use factory gaskets, the flange eyeballs a little on the thin side and I would be afraid of leaks. I would go get a quality copper gasket and pop the extra coin on stage 8 locking bolts. Unless you want to spend an hour re-tightening header bolts every few months until they rust on good and tight.

This. I would not trust an OEM gasket on a 22,000 mile car (in my case) with a new set of nice headers. Get some sturdy new metallic (copper) ones.

Have you made arrangements yet with Thorley to install your set yet?

I just called a parts store and ordered new exhaust manifold gaskets, the computer there didn't list anything for a 2008 Grand Prix GXP so I got them to look into an 2005 GXP.
Should be the same.

No sir, no gaskets. I am going to get some felpro gaskets from Summit or Jegs. They are absolutely beautiful though. They better be after costing me 1300.00....

GM, uses steel shim exhaust manifold gaskets, which are very durable and reusable. They also maintain torque so replace them if you want too.

I didn't install them yet. I was charged twice for one set. I am still in negotiations on getting my money back. Hell, if wasn't for bad luck I'd have none.

Well ****. They must have charged mine to yours because I'm still waiting on them to take the money and ship them. I even called them again to confirm that they had the go ahead.

It is very aggravating having to go through this crap. I need to pay rent in a few days...

Here are a few links for gaskets & bolts.

Agreed. I was under the impression this stuff was included. It would have been nice to order this with the rest of my exhaust stuff so I could have used my $25 off cupon for summit. Oh well...

AG,

It isn't the extra stuff I need to buy that aggravates me it's that I was charged twice for one set of headers. It seems like every time I do something that is on the expensive side for my car something gets messed up. Honestly, that's the crap I am talking about. 25 bucks here or there is one thing, 650.00 is another...
