Thorley Header Project Update
#666
Launching!
Damn, just spent my header money on skiis for the family. hahaha . Thank god for Visa, now to find somebody to install, cheap. lol. Can't wait, hopefully the car will be a bit louder. Looking forward to the bottom end gains !!
Thought they would do the install on Buicks car and a Dyno pull before they shipped though.

So, would it be safe to say that those of us who aren't tuned yet could see a 30+hp increase??

Everyone!!!!
The car made 17-18 HP at 30LB tq, the install, you have to cut one inch before the cat....so if you have stock or hogan DP you have to cut it.
They told me that it takes 4 hours to install (if you have a hoist)
Nick told me that the DOD killed the more gains that we were hoping for, so if you have a better cam it will make more power.
I will have the dyno chart later as well the pictures.

I think it would be hilarious if my headers got here before I got my car back from the dealership.
Of course, once I get the headers and the hardware, I'm ordering some locking header bolts, two Flowmaster Super 44s, 2 new tail pipes, and some wrap or heat shielding to put around the starter.

Put some shield stuff on the tranny while you're at it too. I've seen a kit on intense or some other site, but it isn't that hard to figure out.
