Negotiations to get it back? There should be no question about getting your money back!!!

Did you pay with a credit card? If so, dispute the charges.

Hey Mike;
Don't feel bad or like the Lone Ranger. I was double charged as well. Got the first original charge on the 17th and then got another "pending authorization" on Friday that I watched all weekend that did turn into an actual charge this morning. I called Nick there and he was very appologetic and said that they had already credited back my amount. It sounded like they knew of other "double charge victims" and that they were correcting them as well. I would assume you will be one of those. Told me my credit should be to my acct in a day or so. It sux, yes, but at least they are right on it getting it taken care of.

My box showed up today BTW. All you lucky bastards at least get to be home and meet the UPS Man with your new present. I'm out on the road for work and won't be home for another week or better, so don't even get to see mine for quite a while.......

Default Crusader has his!! But a question!?

I have recieve mine about 6-7 hours ago! They look beautiful! But of course I tend to do a "dry run" through the instructions and I noticed under "The Disassembly Instructions #14" says: "cut down factory down pipe approximately 1/2 before weld on the catalytic converter"

Here's the question(& proably a stupid one): Would cutting a 1/2 before the cat basically means deleting a large amount of the DP??[/B]

& if so; is there any point in ordering a Hogan DP?

Well here's some of my pics:

What do you think about the flex pipe? Should we put another one on there?

I hope your not asking me my friend!! LoL!! I don't understand it! Instructions #8 9 10 are also confusing.
Example: #8 says "remove the transmission dip stick and secondary crossover once again in preparation for a full weld" ??
#9 says: "once the cross over/head pipe has cooled you may now paint the weld with a high temp paint and re-install on the vehicle." ??

I guess what I'm also asking here is: isn't this the only "welding" for this location/application that I have circled below and will this same cirlced location of the "welding" explains the: "cutting the down pipe to 1/2 before the cat" in Disassembly Instruction, # 14??
Which would conclude that we basically no longer really need a down pipe??

I didn't even look at the instructions yet, I gave it to my mechanic to read to look at he's dealing with.

Gulfstream,

They did that to me on the very same days. Since I haven't heard back from them in 3 days, I finally went to my bank so they can dispute this with Jardine Performance. One way or the other I WILL get my money back. I feel if someone screws up then take care of it. Don't make people wait for monies that they deserve. Now a days money is getting harder and harder to come by. Sorry for the rant, I just expected thier customer service to be better.

I got my headers today, and I think they turned out great. A lot better than I thought they would be. They look so good I dont care if I have to pull the engine out to get them on. I cant wait.

Negative, I called them earlier and they told me the only weld is down 1/2 right before the cat!!

ATTENTION:
He also said THERE IS NO NEED TO BUY A AFTERMARKET DOWNPIPE!!!!
Simply because you are cutting all your downpipe off, just as a suspected!

As I studied and studied (LoL!!) I noticed that the back headers DO drop down in down pipe fashion already!! Thorley Performance over the phone confirmed this!! So please do not even think about buying a down pipe for this application cause you won't need it!!

whenever i get these, i'll be using part of my aftermarket down pipe because i don't want a cat and piping from the headers to the exhaust will be 3" with the aftermarket pipe but with the stock one it will be smaller.

I already have a hogan downpipe I was planning to use. Wouldn't the highflow cat be of more benefit to use with that?? Also if using the stock downpipe when you cut it does it eliminate the O2 senser and crappy u bend? Can't remember if it's before or after the cat.

Will the heat change the color of these headers?

The finish looks awesome!

Here's what my downpipe currently looks like; this was after Thorley had reinstalled the OEM manifolds during the mockup phase...you can "kind of" see how long the inlet to the cat is...
