My engine sounds much more smoother at idle now. It almost sounds like it's been de-camed!
IAT's are super low now, after sitting in traffic at a dead stop, and after letting the car sit for a while shut off. Seems like I'm going to get about 360 miles out of this tank. I normally get 320.

Some questions.

Noticeable gains in HP/TQ?

Those that are having shops putting them on, how much labor are they charging?

Powerband was definately moved north. The power is great on the butt dyno.

Best power adder yet. First gear is useless and WOT downshifts are killer. First will spin the tires. Must be the added torque.
Anybody get tuned?

If your serious you may want to contact member Mgpeagle (sp). He was been charged for two sets and only wanted one. Unless that has been corrected already. Good luck.

They are going for 650? Let me see if I can dig some cash up. How hard is the install? Looks like some tight work space

Swapping to 3.29's fixes that. With my fuel cutoff set at 6250 and a desired shift RPM of 6100 - 6150 (I'm still running the stock springs), I have to shift at 48 and 89 to keep from bouncing off the rev limiter at WOT. Combine that with our loose converter and you don't need to make big torque until 3000RPM. It's not like the we have so much traction that we need the bottom end torque for anything other than hill climbing.

I think changing the converter on this car is a mod someone needs to crack now that we have headers and some proposed intake designs. This car needs to have its powerband redefined...much more aligned to a well breathing LS1 or something.

I was gonna have an exhaust shop put them on for me,but they wanted $600 flat for install.so since easter is around the corner, ill be installing them in 2 week at my bro house(save my self $600).

Just got to get new gaskets and header bolts, rather not put the stock gaskets or bolts.once I get the headers in ill have my exhaust done and be set to be a family car with *****...
