245 45 18 Montepala Owners
Just wondering if anyone knew how a 245 45 18 size tire looks on the stock wheels compared to the stock 235 50 18. Thinking about getting that size. Pics are helpfull. Thank you.

2.1% too fast. When it says 60 you'll be doing 58.7mph. Basically the same.

Well I was looking at the RS-A's and they seem to be already at the width of the wheel. I was thinking that a larger width may look alittle awkward.

I have them on my Impala SS, and they look pretty much the same. I'll try to get some pics in the next day or so. I did notice an improvment in ride, though that may have been because I ditched my half-worn RS-As for some Sumitomos.

You can see a little difference in the sizes, but not much. I've got some 245/45/18 RSA's on now and they do seem to handle a little better, but not much. Also they aren't too big for our stock tires.
Here's a pic of the two when I swapped my rims out. The stock rims looks alot taller but keep in mind there's no weight on them.

Yeah a little better. On certain highways turns here I could stay into the speed I was going while "playing" with a buddy in his vette. Before I'd have to slow down cause I could feel the car get loose.
