For those of you who have had to get a transmission rebuilt or replaced, how much did labor run you in actual replacement and how much did the rebuilding labor cost?

 

ive not had a trans go on myself but i did get a quote from a couple transmission shops and they all run around 1500 CAD for labor. I know that Im gonna just drop the 2 grand for a aftermarket trans and use my uncles shop to install it myself. Start making friends with mechanics haha!

 

That'll probably be what i'll do.
