really? i just wanted it for the sound. i saw a clip on youtube this guy has an impala ss with the super 44's and a resonator delete and it sounds loud. magnaflow is just too low for me

I've decided to go with a pre-cat cutout so that I'm quiet and street legal until I'm not, but I was about to buy some Hooker Maximum Flow's based on that test.

 

welcome, i have an MPD hood, with the cai they offer, i loved it. As for the gas milage, my (pretty much) father in laws friend told me about fuel injector cleaner, and gave me a bottle of it for free. So i said why not. I was getting about 14-15 city and 17-19 highway before and now getting 18-19 city and 27-29 highway. Weird, i know but i dont know if the new tranny has anything to do with it....

 

thanks for the tips. im definitely gonna check that out. the only thing about the impala is it looks so plain. the montes and grand prix's look so sporty and aggressive while the impala is just plain. so getting a hood and getting some halo HID's will liven it up a little bit. im also thinking about lambo doors for the summer time as well

 

My magnaflow sounds sweet, but I have the resonator deleted and 3inch hogan downpipe with magnaflow high-flow cat.

Just to throw this out there... Summit Race mufflers. They're cheap and sound nice. If you're tight on funds I'd recommend this route. And they have gotten louder since they've been installed.
