Locals dont port and polish here??

Looked into getting a port and polished TB done. But unfortunately none of the local shops do it here.

I was thinking about doing it myself but i lack the skills haha. Read some online faqs for ls1 porting.

Anywhere online I could just order 1 then send back my core as a trade?

Friend did a Ls4 swap on is Cobalt and it made it undriveable without a re-tuning.

I had a port in my old car and it was a blast to drive.

Fasterproms will do it for you, but you wont see much of an improvement

Yeah I know I won't see anything past 5hp. But I'm doing it mostly because of the easy install. Will contact fasterproms and see if they have any ls4 cores for my gxp. Thnks

I purchased a ported intake and tb from fasterproms. The tb set off codes and I ended up returning it. Dan and Jeremy, from fasterproms, both say that a ported tb will not increase horsepower just throttle response.
