If you get a downpipe, swap it out for the stock unit when you're due for inspection. It's a quick swap

Not sure what the stations do there in NY but here if there is no codes thrown they throw a sticker on it. I heard they will start to use mirrors to look under the car soon so I am going to get one of these when my headers get here.

Even if it does not throw a code, they use this special machine that detects problems with the computer or any other internal problem. At least they do at Fast Track (where I get my inspections done). NY blows when it comes to that sh*t.
