Was it particularly difficult bending it around the sharper corner curves without buckling it? Did you have to notch the horizontal part that taped to the bumper? Do you feel the double sided tape will hold it for a long time or would some sort of plastic push through retainers be benificial? That would of course require drilling to underside.

So far so good. And many just use the double sided tape and have done highway speeds and no problem. And some have had winter weather driving and no problems. But its all about how you feel. Some do use self tapping screws or something to keep them secure..
and not sure what you mean by notching? But no. it went on without a hitch or modifying anything but the length of it.

Not sure what the bottom lip looks like on your car. But maybe it will look like an extension to that lip that goes around the front bumper?

ahh..I see what you mean now..you could try it..I have seen cars with that flat black type of lip around the front. It might work it might not.
Truthfully I wish the GXP's came with a lip like that.
