Denied a 13 second timeslip Try as I may I couldn't muster a 13.99. Best pass was a 14.04 @ 99.57 (2.18).
Car is completely stock except for a resonator delete and may have been getting some KR because I run 87 octane most of the time. There was about 50/50 mix of 87 and 93, so 90 octane?
Too bad I couldn't get better short times. Damn no-sixty-footin', wrong wheel drive car!

I ran at least 10 times, the track was pretty dead and could have made 50 passes if I wanted to. I didn't notice them spray the starting line at all, just a little better 60 would have got me there. 
Oh, and it's not my first time in a FWD car. I used to have a 99 GTP.

I ran mine about 20 times down the track since I bought the car new. It can more than handle it.

The hard parts and clutches are not the problem directly. I see more going wrong with the pressure control soleniods and oil pump drive shafts wearing out.
Of coarse hammering on the equipment is not good either. Always preload any driveline if you can before flooring it.
I never slipped with drag radials.
