Wanted to replace all the front Lights

the GXP takes a 9006 low beam and a H11 fog. Don't do the high beams because it takes a while for the HID's to "warm up". it will be plenty bright with the lows and fogs. high beam is 9005 if you insist.

So if you get the hid relay harness for the headlights will they not flicker at all?? I thought I read somewhere about a problem putting hid in the headlights or am I wrong is it just plug and play and theyll work fine?? Jeff

And I usually run fogs only around town and the lows when I really need the light. I'm actually planning on getting 55w highs...it's REALLY dark around the house.

DDMtuning.com def recommend them.
I run 6000k 35W lows..Got them for 29.99 and they include a lifetime warranty(DDM tuning has been known to honor this too)...Occasionally they will sell them for 24.99 as well.
In my 2001 SS i was worried about running HIDs cause I didnt know much about them, so I bought the colored halogens like the Luminics ones listed...I tried 4 brands..Sylvania Silverstars(Suck, they arnt even white, mostly white yellow, light output is okay but they dont last long)...FahrenheitXs(Look good but light output sucks, didnt last long either)...Xenons(Same as Fahrenheits)...and Nokyas(Supposed to be higher grade Halogens...Cost more and sucked the same).
Save yourself the time and money and run HIDs...Go with 35Ws...The 55ws put to much stress on the harness...Even with the upgraded harness there is still a chance of electrical problems...You shouldnt need anything more than 35ws anyways...My projector headlights run H3 bulbs, which are foglight bulbs, for the low beam, and there is plenty of light output..You should be more than fine with a 9006.

Just got mine and love it. 6000k for the headlights and 4500k for the fogs. They look good with my 6k LED turn signal bulbs.
You do have to drill a hole with a paddle bit in the headlight cover but that's no biggie

DO NOT put HIDs in your high beams. HIDs take time to fire/warm up to reach full light capacity. They will not work well at all in the high beams. The flicking off them on/off also kills the ballast quickly.

For the fogs, I got the 3500K (amber) bulbs and had to use them last night in a heavy fog with the headlights off. It was amazing. I probably had 500 feet of visibility with the fogs, and zero with the headlights.
If you drive in condtions like this soemtimes, the amber fogs are totally worth it.

Yes, you'll need a separate harness for the HIDs. You can just do an ebay search for HID harness and you'll find thousands of them for around 10 bucks.

how are the amber if there isn't any fog?? Do they still light up and look good, I was thinking of getting amber. Ddm only has 3k or 4k what you think would be better? I was gonna get 6k for headlights I've had those before and lik that output alot. Any help. Thanks jeff
I just ordered some 6000K HIDs from DDM for the stock housings taht are going back into the Impala. I think the combo of 6000K headlights + 3000K fogs is a real winner.

This gives you an example...DDM 35w 6k lows and DDM 35w 3k fogs:
The fogs work wonders when there actually is fog. Traditional low beams reflect too much light into the fogs and it compounds the problem trying to gain visibility driving the in the fog. The 3k temp light cuts through the fog well and allows you to see where you are going.
My headlights and fogs are on pretty much 24/7 and I report no problems. The yellow fogs look great even when there's no fog.
